    Now that Nicol retired and we look at how many Titles she and Sarah won, Sarah is nowhere at close to Nicol's achievement. Thats why Nicol is The Greatest of all time.

    While I appreciate the upload it would be a whole lot better if you hadn't cut the crap out of it. There is so much interaction between rallies that rally adds to the game.

    Mike Way has coached two world champions: Jonathon Power & Ali Farag. He’s made Harvard a formidable squash power & has posted more detailed videos for our benefit. If someone prefers Shawn Moxham’s style, fine with Mike. That doesn’t render Mike an idiot. Let’s just say the methods he uses are very effective & it’s no fluke he coaches winners.

    Great video. I am a bit late but would be an even more revealing video if this was analyzed for a backhand crosscourt shot. The reason is that if a crosscourt shot is done 'wrong', then it would be picked off easily. Hence, the technique will have to be perfect. With straight shots, as long as you are hitting the ball straight (not touching the side wall and deep), then it is generally not picked off

    *correction* Peter Nicol is not from England. He hails from Scotland. Scotland is a different country than England. Both countries are part of the United Kingdom.

      +Steve Perry This is true! Actually Nicol did represent Scotland up until 2001 or so, then he switched to England. Can't remember why though...

    I can only agree with the statement that Shaun is a great coach. I had the pleasure to have him as a coach early in his career and his understanding of the game is so far further advanced than any other coaches that I worked with before or after

    Great Video but... It looks so easy so I tried this myself, recorded myself and I couldn't do it. I came back to this video few times to check what I'm doing wrong and tried again and still nothing. I believe one more key point here is they position is very very very low. They bend their knees and lean forward. They keep racquet paralel as mentioned but it is like 10 cm above the ground! See 1:33 - his hand is nearly at his ankle level. To be able to do that with every shot you need to have legs from steel... You need to start from high postion, go to low, hit the ball, synchronize all your parts of the body with the ball then recover back to high position. That's just look easy...

    • @10110101100
      @10110101100 9 років тому

      Think about drawing the letter "J" with your racquet...that's what helped me
